SO yeah, I went to Warped Tour. It Was awesome.

...you know, if you overlook the fact that I almost got killed in the "Senses Fail" moshpit, got horrible second-degree burns, and lotsa second-hand smoke.

...err, that kinda sounds like I am dissing the thing, doesn't it? Seriously, I am not. It was awesome. Got to enjoy lotsa good music, got my pics taken with the Plain White Tees, Aiden, I Am Ghost, Ben from Armor For SLeep (he's a jerk -_- he didn't smile at the camera.. well, either that or he has NO PERSONALITY WHATSOEVER. He sure looked good on stage, tho *was up in the front*)

I also got to touch William's hand!!! <3 SQUEEE! (yes THAT William from The Academy Is) Honestly, I was rather indifferent to meeting them until the drummer dude (yeah I dunno his name ;_; ) put a funny comment about The Butcher's dad in my poster. LOL. Then it was William's turn. I was just looking at him sign my poster, thinking "gah, this guy is boring. He hasn't said anything... but he is kinda cute". Then he just looked and gave me THE SMILE. It was the most adorable thing I have ever seen; the shy-yet-still-incredibly-sweet little school boy kinda smile. *swoons* He shook my hand with that smile on his face. ...I am embarrased to admit I melted. I swear it was an shojo anime moment; girl gets smiled at by the cute main guy, cue in the shojo bubble background, sudden dopey smile, delighted blush and sparkly eyes. A friend took a picture of my face after this, too. THE SHAME! ><

so yeah, I needed to get that outta my system. Needless to say I am now a fangirl.

CROWD SURFERS ARE THE SPAWN OF SATAN. A bunch of them fell on top of me throughout the thing. OUCH, indeed. It was so funny when this girl went psycho on one of them who fell on her and started beating the crap out of him. Can't say I felt too sorry for the guy; he hit me too. >< Needless to say, I was cheering inwardly when she busted his ass.

I did kinda go psycho too. I went after one of the drummer's drumsticks when he threw them at the crowd after the Armor For Sleep concert. I didn't get them tho. *tear* I tried. *shrugs*

One tip: Don't make your first concert the Warped Tour. I did (the other concert I had been to didn't really count; they had seats) and DAMN was I taken back. Not that I regret it, but eeek. Seriously. I was almost killed in that moshpit. Had to get out after the first song, and since i was WAAAAY in the front, it took a lot of time and violence to get out of there. I accidently wandered in to the two little circles where people were roughing each other up. Yikes. By the end of the day, I just wanted to leave (but I was beaming; yay, autographs, pictures, and FREE STUFF! ...this guy who was passing out condoms gave me a bunch of them, tho. SHould I feel offended? o.o)

Thus concluding my adventures in Warped Tour. Seen from a n00b's point of view. Coming soon to a theater near you!
